Buying a car
Do you negotiate on price?
Every car gets one straight price. We don't inflate the number so there's room to knock it back down, which means the price you see online is the one we're working from when you come in.
What do you do to a car before it goes on the lot?
Every vehicle is freshly serviced and inspected, comes with a clean title, and has a complimentary Carfax report.
Can my own mechanic look at a car before I buy?
Yes. Customers have had their own mechanics check cars before buying, and in one case we drove the car to the buyer's mechanic and picked it back up the same day. Call ahead and we'll set it up.
Do you offer a warranty?
Extended service contracts are available for up to 8 years, including bumper-to-bumper coverage, at extra cost. Exclusions apply, so ask us to walk you through the options on the car you're looking at.
How often does the inventory change?
We usually carry 45 or more vehicles. Right now there are 39 on the lot. The inventory page updates on its own as cars come and go.
Financing and trade-ins
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through banks and credit unions. We send your application to the lenders we work with and tell you what comes back. See how financing works.
Can I buy with an ITIN instead of a Social Security number?
Sometimes, yes. Some of our lenders accept an ITIN and some accept alternative documents, but the programs change from month to month. Call and we'll tell you what's open right now, or read how ITIN auto financing works.
Do you do buy here pay here?
No. We don't offer in-house financing. Every loan goes through an outside bank or credit union.
Do you take trade-ins?
Yes, on any purchase, and we'll buy your car outright even if you're not buying one from us. Send us the details for a number.
Buying from out of town
Can I buy a car without coming to Raleigh first?
Yes. Buyers from out of state have bought after a video walkaround of the car, and you can ask us anything by phone or text before you decide.
Do you ship cars?
Nationwide shipping is available. The cost depends on the distance, so call for a quote on the car you want.
I'm flying in. Can you help with the trip?
Customers have flown into Raleigh-Durham International to pick up their cars, and we once sent someone to pick a buyer up at the airport. Call us before you book your flight.
